Fire, Explosions Rock Yokohama Fireworks Display, Barge Goes Haywire at Minatomirai Festival

 During the "Minatomirai Smart Festival" fireworks display in Yokohama, a launch barge became uncontrollable, leading to an explosion and fire. The incident occurred around 7:50 p.m. on August 4, with authorities receiving a report from the event organizers.

The barge reportedly caught fire, and there's a possibility that a chain reaction of explosions occurred. The festival was canceled, and emergency services, including fire trucks and ambulances, were dispatched to the scene. As of 8:30 p.m., there were no immediate reports of injuries.
