The Ghibli Museum in Mitaka is called the Ghibli Museum, Mitaka in English.

It's officially known as 三鷹の森ジブリ美術館 (Mitaka no Mori Ghibli Bijutsukan) in Japanese, which translates to "Mitaka Forest Ghibli Museum."

Tickets are valid only for the specified date and time of entry, with no set exit times.

It's about a 19-minute walk (1.4 km) from the South Exit of JR Mitaka Station to the museum.

You will primarily walk along a path known as "Kaze no Sanpomichi" (Wind Path).

• From Mitaka Station South Exit: Walk straight down "Kaze no Sanpomichi".

• Landmark along the way: You will see a sign for the "Mitaka Municipal Animation Museum".

• Destination: Continue along this path, and you will arrive at the Ghibli Museum.
